Now, he's still 100% wrong about his "I had a more soulful voice than Michael" comments a few years ago, but he absolutely deserves his share of credit for the final results.Īlso, the Tucson show features an amazing 40 seconds of Eddie noodling to start Outta Love Again. He's clearer than Michael and allows you to better hear his contribution to the backing vocal sound that made VH so unique. One of the really interesting things about the Tucson 79 show (and the other new 79 shows as well) is how prominent Eddie is on the backing vocals. The real gems to my ears are Tucson 79, Wichita 78 and Manchester 78. I got ten cents worth of a few of these recently. ![]()
